This list is shorter than the checklist you may have seen before. Nothing has been removed - the identity and background checks are still required. They are simply carried out later, at the point they can be done properly, rather than up front.
Hire & Reward insurance
A valid policy covering delivery work. This is a legal requirement for carrying goods for payment, so we ask for your certificate up front.
DVLA licence check code
Generate a code at gov.uk/view-driving-licence and share it with us. A code shows your entitlement and any endorsements; a photo of your licence does not.
Your CV
Optional, but it helps us understand your experience.
What comes later
These are handled with you directly once we have reviewed your application. We do not ask you to upload identity documents through this website, because a photograph of a passport is not a valid right-to-work check.
Right to work check
Completed during onboarding with a Home Office share code or your original document. We do not ask you to upload identity documents through this website.
Background check
A Basic DBS certificate, arranged as part of onboarding rather than before you apply.
Profile photo
Taken once you join, with your consent, for your BCN driver record.
